Hi, I’m Erika Brooke
Welcome to Modestly Done!

I’m a wife, mother of four, Christian, baker, homemaker, and lifelong learner. Most importantly, I’m a Christian seeking to live a life that honors God in both the big and small things.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed about building something like Modestly Done. While the dream is still very much a work in progress, this blog is where I’m finally taking the first steps and sharing the journey along the way.
Here you’ll find a little bit of everything that makes up my life: baking, homemaking, simple living, faith, lifelong learning, and the occasional project that starts with, “I wonder if I can do that?”
My faith influences every area of my life, and while this isn’t exclusively a faith blog, you’ll often find encouragement, lessons I’m learning, and reflections from my walk with God woven throughout what I share.
I love making homemade treats, learning new skills, reading, studying, and finding practical ways to create a simpler and more intentional life. I’m also the kind of person who can spend far too much time researching a baking tool, a new project, or a future dream before finally making a decision.
Modestly Done isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about building something meaningful one step at a time, learning along the way, and trusting God through the process.
Whether you’re here for recipes, homemaking ideas, faith, or simply to follow along as I build this little corner of the internet, I’m glad you’re here.
